f(x) = 2x² - 3x - 2

f(1) = 2(1)² - 3(1) - 2

⇒ 2 - 3 - 2

⇒ 0 - 3

⇒-3

ii. x = -2 (given)

f(-2)= 2(-2)² - 3(-2) - 2

⇒ 8 + 6 - 2

⇒14 - 2

⇒12
