if y=3

then

p(3)=2(3)-2(3)^3+7

=6-2(27)+7

=6-54+7

=13-54

p(-1)=2(-1)-2(-1)^3+7

=-2-2(-1)+7

=-2+2+7

=7

y=0

p(0)=2(0)-2(0)^3+7

=0-0+7

=7

y=-2

p(-2)=2(-2)-2(-2)^3+7

=-4-2(-8)+7

=-4-16+7

=-20+7

=-13
