Answer:

x = 50 and y = 40

Step-by-step explanation:

x = 180 - (60 + 70)

x = 180 - 130

x = 50

y = 180 - [30 + (180 - 70)]

y = 180 - (30 + 110)

y = 180 - 140

y = 40

Answer:

x = 50 degrees , y = 40 degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

x = 180 - (70 + 60) because the sum of all angles of a triangle is 180 degrees, it is also known as angle sum property. 180 - 130 = 50

So x = 50 degrees.

The value of angle next to 70 degree in another triangle will be 180 - 70 = 110 degrees. Now,  y = 180 - (110 + 30) which is 180 - 140 = 40 degrees.

So y = 40 degrees.
