we know that sum of angles in a triangle= 180
in ΔABC = ∠A+∠B+∠C=180
50 + 90+∠C=180
∠C= 180-140=40
IN ΔEDC,
∠E+∠D+∠C = 180
100 +X+∠C= 180
X+100+40=180
X= 40
