angle PRQ = y

angle PR = 120°

so,

angle PRQ+ angle PR = 180°(linear pairs)

y+120 = 180°

y = 60°

therefore,

angle PQR + angle PRQ + angle QPR = 180°( angle sum property of a triangle )

50+x+60 = 180°

x= 70°

hence x= 70° and y= 60°

To find :-

x and y

Solution :-

angle PRS + angle y° = 180°

120° + y° = 180°

y = 180°-120°

y = 60°

According to angle property of triangle

In ∆ PQR,

angle PQR + angle PRQ + angle QPR = 180°

50° + 60° + x° = 180°

110° + x = 180°

x = 180° - 110°

x = 70°

Hence, x = 70° and y = 60°
