Answer:

18/4=y-7/5 [if the question is y-7/5 not (y-7)/5 then, it is solved in this way]

18/4 + 7/5 = y [ transposing the like terms to respective sides ]

the LCM of 5 and 4 =20

(90+28)/20 = y

118/20 =y

59/10 =y

I hope it helps you.

  \sf{here \: is \: your \: answer : } \\  \sf{ \frac{18}{4}  = y -  \frac{7}{5} } \\  \sf{y =  \frac{18}{4}  +  \frac{7}{5} } \\  \sf{y =  \frac{18}{4}  \times 20 +  \frac{7}{5}  \times 20} \\  \sf{ y = \frac{90}{20} +   \frac{28}{20} } \\  \sf{y = \frac{118}{20 }   =  \frac{59}{10} }
