Solution:

It is given that,

(2³)⁴ = (2²)^x

=> 2^(3×4) = 2^(2x)

/* i) (a^m) = a^mn

ii) If a^m = a^n then m=n */

=> 2^12 = 2^2x

=> 12 = 2x

=> 12/2 = x

=> 6 = x

Therefore,

x = 6
