$\frac{do}{ob} = \frac{co}{oa}$

given ratio is equal by bpt( by drawing parallel)...

$\frac{4}{x - 4} = \frac{x - 3}{3x - 19}$

just solve the equation... to get the value of x

12x - 76 = x^2 -7x +12

12x - 76 = x^2 -7x +12x^2 -19x + 88 = 0

12x - 76 = x^2 -7x +12x^2 -19x + 88 = 0 this implies x can be 11 and 8 cm
