 \frac{x}{7 - 6x}  =  -  \frac{4}{17}  \\  \\  \:  \red {cross} \:  \green{multiply} \\  \\ 17x =  - 4(7 - 6x) \\  \\ 17x =  - 28 +  24x \\  \\ 17x  -  24x =  - 28 \\  \\  - 7x =  - 28 \\  \\ x =   \frac{ - 28}{ - 7}  \\  \\   \blue x  \pink=  \red4

By cross multiply ,

17x = - 4 ( 7 - 6x )

17x = - 28 + 24x

17x - 24 x = - 28

- 7x = - 28

x = - 28 / - 7

x = 4
