  • We have to evaluate the above expression by using the given data.

              Given data:- 2(x+7)=13.

              To find:- Value of the expression.

              Solution:-

  • Here we will use the transposition method.
  • Transposition is one of the linear equations.
  • To solve the transposition method we will Identify the variables and constants.
  • Then we Simplify the equation in LHS and RHS.
  • Now Simplify the equation using arithmetic operations.

        By using the transposition method.

        we get,

                  2(x+7)=13\\=>2x+14=13\\=>2x=13-14\\=>2x=-1\\=>x=\frac{-1}{2} .

      Hence we will get the value x=-\frac{1}{2} .

As per the data given in the above question.

we have the following details as,

The given equation is 2(x+7)=13

We have to find the value of x from given equation.

Thus, simplifying the given equation we get,

2(x + 7) = 13 \\ 2x + 14 = 13

shifting constant one side we get,

2x = 13 - 14 \\ 2x =  - 1 \\ x =  \frac{ - 1}{2}

Hence the value of x is

 \frac{ - 1}{2}

note:-

Find the value of x
