(√3)^x = (3)^7

so, (√3)^x = (√3)2*7           [∵ 3  = √3²]
  
 so, x = 7*2 = 14

Given:   \sqrt{3} ^x = 3^7

 3^{ \frac{1}{2}x } = 3^7

 \frac{1}{2} x = 7

 \frac{x}{2} = 7

x = 14.
