find the value of x^3 + y^3 +6xy - 8 when y= 2-x

Answer :

When y = 2 - x,

x³ + y³ + 6xy - 8

= x³ + (2 - x)³ + 6x (2 - x) - 8

= x³ + 8 - 12x + 6x² - x³ + 12x - 6x² - 8

= 0
