Heya....

____________________

The exterior angle of triangle is given ;

5x+13

We know that, Exterior angle + Interior Angle = 180

Putting values in above formula,

5x+13 + 3x+7 =180

8x + 20 = 180

8x = 180-20

8x = 160

x = 160/80

x= 20 degree

Hope This Helps......

Thanks.....

Please tell me i will edit ^_^
Raghav3333: We know that, Exterior angle = Sum of 2 opposite angles ,it is correct but this formula should not be put here
Raghav3333: then what is the use of isocels triangle given in the diagram?
Raghav3333: so u should use exterior angle property =exterior angle+interior angle = 180
ria113: bro edit pls

==========================

2) diagram 2

it is an isoceles triangle because two sides are equal.

if sides are equal then angles will lso be equal

so let the two base angles be x

lest form a equation

=>x+x+30 = 180

2x+30=180

2x = 180-30

2x = 150

x = 150/2 =  75 degrees

∴x  = 75  degrees

1)first diagram

3X +7 IS IN right side

t is an isoceles triangle because two sides are equal.

if sides are equal then angles will lso be equal

so 3X +7 IS IN left side  also

5x + 13 is exterior angle

lets recall

exterior angle+interior angle = 180

=>5x + 13 +3X +7 should be 180

=>8x +20 =180

=>8x =180-20

=>8x = 160

=>x = 20

=======================

hope  it helps u.......
