 {2}^{3} ( {6}^{0}  +  {3}^{2x} ) = 8 \\ 8 ( 1  +  {3}^{2x} ) = 8 \\ on \: divnding \: both \: sides \: by \: 8 \: gives \\ 1 +  {3}^{2x}  = 1 \\  {3}^{2x}  = 1 - 1 = 0 \\  {3}^{2x}  =  {3}^{0}  \\ 2x = 0 \\ on \: dividing \: both \: sides \: by \: 2 \: gives \\ x = 0
