we know the identity that when the base are same powers are added in multiplication so using this-
(3/4)^-9*(3/4)^-7=(3/4)^4x
so -9-7=4x
=-16=4x
=x=-4

Let see your answer !!!!!

( \frac{3}{4} ) ^{ - 9} \times ( \frac{3}{4} ) ^{ - 7} = ( \frac{3}{4} ) ^{4x} \\ \\ = > ( \frac{3}{4} ) ^{ - 9 + ( - 7)} = ( \frac{3}{4} ) ^{4x} \\ \\ = > ( \frac{3}{4} ) ^{ - 9 - 7} = ( \frac{3}{4} ) ^{4x} \\ \\ = > ( \frac{3}{4} ) ^{ - 16} = ( \frac{3}{4} ) ^{4x} \\ \\ since \: bases \: are \: same \\ \\ = > - 16 = 4x \\ \\ = > x = \frac{ - 16}{4} \\ \\ = > x = - 4

Thanks :)))))
