Answer:

2(x-36)=2x-72+x=180

3x-72=180

3x=180+72

3x=252

x=252/3

x=84cm/m(what the measure is)...

Given :

 \angle \: AOB \:  = 2(x-36)° \\  \angle \: AOC \:  =x°

To find :

•Value \:  of \:  x

Solution :

 \therefore2(x - 36) \degree  + x \degree \:  = 180 \degree  \\ -( Angles \:  in \:  linear \: pair) \\  \\  \therefore2 \times x - 2 \times 36 + x = 180 \degree  \\ \\  \therefore2x - 72 \degree + x = 180 \degree \\  \\  \therefore \: 3x - 72 \degree = 180 \degree \\  \\  \therefore \: 3x = 180 \degree + 72 \degree \\  \\  \therefore \: 3x = 252 \degree \\  \\  \therefore \: x =  \frac{252}{3}  \\  \\  \therefore \:  \boxed  {x \:  = 84 \degree}

Let us find the measures of angles :

1)  \angle AOB = 2(x-36)°  \\  = 2 \: (84 - 36) \degree \\  = 2 \: (48) \degree \\  = 96 \degree

2) \angle AOC = x  \degree \:   \\  = 84 \degree
