2x and (3x-10)degrees r two vertically opposite angles means they r equal
So
3x -10 = 2x
Adding 10 to both sides
3x -10 + 10 = 2x + 10
3x = 2x + 10
Subtract 2x from both sides
3x - 2x = 2x - 2x + 10
We get
x = 10
Now in eq 4x-17 , put x=10
4(10) -17
40 -17

Answer:

x=47

Step-by-step explanation:

2x+4x-17+3x-10=180

(we've added 4x-17 coz Vertical Opposite angle of 4x-17 is make 180° angle with 2x and 3x-10)

=2x+4x+3x-17-10=180

=9x-27=180

=x-27= 180/9

=x-27=20

=x=20+27

=x=47

thanks hope you got it
