5 raised to x = 125

 {5}^{x}  = 125 \\  \\ write \: the \: number \: in \: exponental \: form \: with \: base \: 5 \\  \\ as \: we \: know \:  \\ 5 \times 5 \times 5 \times  = 125 \\  {5}^{3}  = 125 \\  \\ so \\  \\  {5}^{x}  =  {5}^{3}  \\  \\ since \: bases \: are \: same \: set \: the \: exponents \: equal \\  \\ therefore \\  \\ x = 3

==> 5^x = 125.............

==> 5^x = 5^3............


since, bases are equal powers need to be equal...........



so, x = 3..............
