Given:- in the given figure AD divides ∠DAC in the ratio of 1:3 and AB=DC.

To find:- the value of x

⇒Let the ratio to be 1x and 2x.

⇒So that ∠ABD=1x and ∠ABC=3x

⇒ ∠EAB=∠ABC

⇒∠ABC=180°  (∵∠EAB=180°)

⇒     3x =180°

⇒      x =180°÷3

⇒         x =60°

So,the value of x=60°
