HERE'S UR ANSWER
❗❗GIVEN
x-1/x=3, x=/= 0
▶▶SOLUTION
✅ x-1/x= 3
✔. x^2 - 1 = 3×x
⏩. x^2-3x-1 =0 ⏩⏩⏩⏩(1)
on factorising the equation 1 , we will gey
⏺ x^2-3x-1=0.
apply sridhara's formula,b
.⏪⏪⏪ = -b+√b^2-4ac/ 2a
where, b = -3
a= 1
c= -1
we get
3+√(3)^2-4×1×-1/2×1
3+√9+4/2
3+√13/2
hence
there are two values of x
1. x = 3+√13/2
2.x= 3-√13/2
hope it helps u
