<u>Solution</u>

In ∆ABC,

angle A = x
angle B = 50°
angle C = 70°


Now, in a ∆, the sum of all angles is 180°.

So, in ∆ABC,

angle A + angle B + angle C = 180°

=> x + 50° + 70° = 180°

=> x + 120° = 180°

=> x = 180° - 120°

=> x = 60°.

Hence, angle A = x = 60°
