Given,

  • 7/-x=7 is given.

To find,

  • We have to find the value of x.

Solution,

We can simply find the value of x by using the method of solving linear equations in one variable.

It is given that 7/-x=7

Now,  by cross multiplying, we get

              1 * 7 = 7 * -x

Shifting the (-) sign from x to 1 on the LHS, we get

               -7   = 7x

          -7 /7    = x

             -1     = x

Hence, the value of x for 7/-x=7 is -1.
