as we know that Angle BOA and Angle AOC is forming linear pair(180) which means

that , Angle BOA + Angle AOC =

= (5x+20) + (75)= 180

now solve it, so we will get ,

5x+20+75= 180

= 5x + 95=180

= 5x = 180-95   (we took 95 to the R.H.S it becomes -95)

= 5x= 85

= now , x = 85/5 (here we took 5 to that side it becomes 1/5 = 85/1*1/5= 85/5

=so, X = 85/5 = 17

now , we got X = 17 .

2) now we need to find BOA

as we know BOA = 5x +20

and here we got x as 17

so, 5*17+ 20= 85 degree
