let us draw line EF ||AB||CD

Since EF ||AB angle BAE + AEF = 180

Angle AEF = 72°

NOW since EF||CD angle ECD + CEF = 180°

Angle CEF = 68

NOW WE KNOW THAT Angle AEF + CEF = AEC

therefore 72 + 68 = 140°
