Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

60°+58°+y=180° (angle sum property)

108°+y=180°

y=180°-108°

y=72°

72°+60° = x (exterior angle property)

x=132°

★ Solution :-

By observing the given question ,

  • ∠A = y
  • ∠B = 60°
  • ∠C = 58°
  • ∠ACD = x

Finding y using angle sum property ,

Angle sum property :- Sum of all angles in a ∆ equal to 180°

Similarly ,

∠A + ∠B + ∠C = 180°

Substituting known values we have

→ y + 60° + 58° = 180°

→ y + 118° = 180°

→ y = 180° - 118°

[°.° 118° transposed to RHS ]

→ y = 72°

Now, finding x using Exterior angle property

Exterior angle property :- Exterior angle of a ∆ equal to sum of two interior opposite angles

Here , interior opposite angles are ∠A & ∠B

x = A + B

→ x = y + 60°

→ x = 72° + 60°

[°.° y = 72° ]

x = 132°

Hence , y = 72° & x = 132°
