Answer:

Angle x and 80° form linear pair.

So they add up to 180

ie, x + 80 = 180

ie, x = 180 - 80

       = 100

In triangle ABC, we know that sum of angles is 180

ie, x + y + 30 = 180

ie, 100 + y + 30 = 180

ie, y + 130 = 180

ie, y = 180 - 130

        = 50

Hence, x = 100 and y = 50 is the required answer.

80° + x = 180° ( linear pair)

X = 180 °- 80°

X =100°

X +y+ c = 180 ° (sum of all sides of triangle)

100° + y + 30° =180°.

130° + y = 180°

y = 180° - 130°

y = 50°
