ON SUBSTRACTING (iii) FROM (iv)--
y = 10 - 18
y = - 8
ON PUTTING THE VALUE OF y in (i)--
2x+3×(-8) = 6
=> 2x-24 = 6
=> 2x = 24+6
=> 2x = 30
x = 15
HENCE, x = 15 & y = -8 ANS.
