ABCD is a rhombus.

so, its diagonals bisect each other .

so, DO = OB And CO = OA.

x + y = 16

=> y = 16 - x

y + 7 = 12 ( here put the value of y in its place )

=> (16 - x) + 7 = 12

=> 16 - x + 7 = 12

=> 23 - x = 12

=> 23 - 12 = x

=> 11 = x

so, the value of x = 11.

And the value of y = 16 - 11

= 5
