so , 140° + y = 180°

y = 180° - 140°

y = 40°

Now in triangle,

x +y + 60° = 180°

we have y  = 40°

so,

x + 40° +60° = 180°

x +100° = 180°

x =180°-100°

x = 80°

x = 80°  , y = 40°
