Answer:

x=2

y=2

Step-by-step explanation:

  5x-3Y=4  ------ (1)

 -3x+y=-4    ------(2)

__________

2x-2Y=0

__________

therefore 2(X-Y)=0

X-Y=0

so X=Y -----(3)

Substitute (3) in (1)

5X-3X=4

2X=4

X=2

From (3) we know X=Y

So Y=2

Answer:

Given, (5x−3y,y−3x)=(4,−4)

Hence, 5x−3y=4 ----- equation (1)

and y−3x=−4 ----- equation (2)

Multiplying both sides of the equation  (2) with 3 we get, 3y−9x=−12 ----- equation (3)

Adding equations (1) and (3), we get −4x=−8=>x=2

Substituting x=2 in the equation (2), we get y−3(2)=−4=>y=2

Hence, x=2;y=2
