Find the value of x and y from:-
2x-y=3
x-2y=-3

You can do this by elimination method

2x - y = 3.........eqn 1

x - 2y = -3.........eqn 2

Multiply eqn 2 with 2

2x - y = 3

eqn2 x 2. 2x - 4y = -6(change the symbol)

3y = 9

y = 9/3

y= 3

Sub y value in eqn 2

x - 2(3) = -3

x -6= -3

x = - 3 + 6

x = 3
