we know that the sum of angles in triangle is equal to 180°

so, 90°+x+x-6°=180°

=> 84°+2x=180°

=>2x=180°- 84°

=>2x=96°

=>x=96°/2

=>x=48°

similarly,

3y+6°+4y+90°=180°

=>7y+96=180°

=>7y=180°-96°

=>7y=84°

=>y=84°/7

=>y=12°

(iv) 48°,12° is correct answer for value of x and y
