x+2y=5 .,..,....(1)
2x-3y=-5.......(2)
multiplying eq.(1) both sides by 2 we get
2x+4y=10........(3).
now eq(2) -eq(3): -7y = -15.
y =15/7. so x=5- 2×15/7=5- 30/7=(35-30)/7=5/7.
x=5/7 and y=15/7
