x/y=2/3
3x=2y......i)
2/x=1/2
x=4......ii

3*4=2y
y=6

given: (x/y) = (2/3)
so, by cross multiplying we get,
3x= 2y_______(1)

also given that : (2/x)=(1/2)
so, by cross multiplying we get,
from this we get, x= 4

putting x= 4 in (1)

3x= 2y
3(4)=2y
12= 2y
y=(12/2)
y=6
so, x= 4 and y= 6
