To find the value of xandy

Solution: In ΔABC,

x=50 (Isosceles triangle theorem)

y=60 (Isosceles triangle theorem)

We know that,

∠ABD=∠ABC+∠CBD

=x+60

=50 +60

∠ABD=110

And now,

∠ACD=∠ACB+∠BCD

=50 +y

=50 +60 =110
