firstly Y = 80 (alternative angles)

then y =Y means 80(vertically opposite angle)

in small triangle 60+80 +a=180 ( sum of interior angle of triangle is 180)

so x =40

now in large triangle 80 +40+x =180 ( sum of interior angle of triangle

therefore x =60.
