2x+y=7 ----(i)

4x-3y=-1----(ii)

multiplying (i) by 3 and (ii) by 1 we get

6x+3y=21----(iii)

4x-3y=-1----(iv)

---------------------

2x=22

x=11

putting the value of x in (iii)

6*11+3y=21

66-21=-3y

45/-3=y

-15=y

x,y=11,-15
