find the value of x and y in the following equations 5x+17y=61, 2y=3x .​

here is your answer

i) 5x + 17y = 61

let x be 2 and y be 3

5(2) + 17(3)=61

10 + 51 = 61

61 = 61

LHS = RHS

ii) 2y = 3x

2y -3x =0

let y be 3 and x be 2

2(3) - 3(2) = 0

6-6=0

0=0

LHS = RHS

NOW THE X AND Y OF THE BOTH ARE (2,3) AND (2,3)
