Answers:

x = 30° and y = 150°

Explanation -:

FINDING ANGLE X

▪︎By applying Angle sum property in this triangle,

By applying Angle sum property in this triangle, Total angle in triangle = 180°

By applying Angle sum property in this triangle, Total angle in triangle = 180°Two Interior Angles = 80° and 70°

x = 180° - (80 + 70)°

x = 180° - 150°

x = 30°

FINDING ANGLE Y

▪︎But there is no y in the figure but when I see properly there is an exterior angle opposite to x angle I think its y.

If y is exterior angle (not sure but helping you if there is),

then, y = 180° - x 《Linear pair》

y = 180° - 30°

y = 150°

0R

(80 + 70)°....《Theorem - Sum of opposite interior angles is equal to exterior angle theorem where opposite interior angles are 80° and 70°.》

• by applying any two we get y = 150°.

Hope you understood if I am correct for y angle I think it is exterior angle...
