Step-by-step explanation:

x + 8 = 16 - x \\ 16 - x - x - 8  = 0 \\ 8 - 2x = 0 \\  - 2x =  - 8 \\ x =  \frac{ - 8}{ - 2}  = 4 \\ x = 4

2y + 13 = 5y + 4 \\ 2y - 5y + 13 - 4 = 0 \\  - 3y + 9 = 0 \\  - 3y =  - 9 \\ y =  \frac{ - 9}{ - 3}  = 3 \\ y = 3

in parellelogram diagonal bisect each other are equal

so , OA = OC

x + 8 = 16 - x

2 x = 8

x = 4

OD = OB

2y +13 = 5y + 4

- 3 y = - 9

both side minus cancel

3 y = 9

y = 3
