in triangles PQS

solve using angle sum property of a triangle

now

60 +x+ x = 180 .......angle sum property

60 + 2x = 180

2x = 180 - 60

2x = 120

x = 120 ÷ 2

x = 60

both the x are 60 and we can say that triangle PQS is a equilateral triangle

to find y

in triangle RQS

solve using angle sum property

now

30 + y + y = 180

30 + 2y = 180

2y = 180 - 30

2y = 150

y = 150 ÷ 2

y = 75

verification of the answers

by applying angle sum property in triangle PQS

60+60+60

= 180

hence x = 60

by applying angle sum property in triangle RQS

75+75+30

= 180

hence y = 75
