\small{HolaMatey!!!}

given equation ,

x²-8x + 1280=  0

splitting the middle terms,

x² -40x+32+1280 =0

x(x-40) + 32(x-40) =0

x-40 = 0    or   x+32 =0

x=40 and x=-32

wish it helps !! :)

akanshamathur13: now bye
amitnrw: Solution is not there until we go into complex numbers and that would be too complex to solve so probably question should have -1280 and then ur solution would be correct
mairazainab: Ok let it get deleted
amitnrw: On your demand i answered it but I do not know whether you know about i (iota) complex number
amitnrw: @ SharmaShivam - how did you confirm the Answer ?
akanshamathur13: who is Sharma shivam here
akanshamathur13: oh sorry
akanshamathur13: l did not read @

Answer:

On Demand , i is iota a complex number and i²=-1

x = 4+35.55 i

x = 4 - 35.55 i

Please mark the answer as "The Brainliest answer" if you like it

Step-by-step explanation:

x²-8x+1280 = 0

x²-8x+16+1264=

x²-8x+16 = -1264

(x-4)² = √-1264

x-4 =  +35.55 i , - 35.55 i ( i is iota and iota² = -1)

x = 4+35.55 i

x = 4 - 35.55 i
