• Opposite Angles of a parallelogram are equal.

• Sum of adjacent angles in a parallelogram is $180^{\circ}$.

Solution

c) Using first property mentioned above, we can say that,

$5x = 110^{\circ}$

$x = \dfrac{110^{\circ}}{5}$

$x = 22^{\circ}$

So, the value of x is 22 degree.

d) Using second property mentioned above, we can say that,

$2x + 100^{\circ} = 180^{\circ}$

$2x = 180^{\circ}-100^{\circ}$

$2x = 80^{\circ}$

$x = \dfrac{80^{\circ}}{2}$

$x = 40^{\circ}$

So, the value of x is 40 degree.
