we know that If three numbers a, b, c are in AP, then

2b=a+c (AM)

So,
2 (2x)=(x+2)+(2x+3)
=) 4x=3x+5
=) x=5

if you have any other doubts don't hesitate to ask.

x+2,2x and 2x+3 are in AP. so, 2(2x)=(x+2)+(2x+3).
4x=x+2+2x+3
4x=3x+5
x=5
