Find the value of 'x' from the below given equation. x⁄2 + 2 = 8 − x.​

To find,

Value of 'x'

Solution,

We have the equation,

\frac{x}{2}+ 2 = 8 - x

Step 1 is to take the LCM on the L.H.S

⇒ x + 4 = 2×(8 - x)

Solving further on the right side,

⇒ x + 4 = 16 - 2x

⇒ x + 3x = 16 - 4

⇒ 4x = 12

⇒ x= 3

Hence, we get the value x=3.
