Answer:

a) the base angles of a isosceles triangle are equal

therefore, 40°+ 40°+x= 180° (acc to angle sum property)

x is equal to 100°

b) x is equal to 50° ( interior angles of a polygon)

c)the base angles of a isosceles triangle are equal

therefore, 80°+80°+ x= 180°

x is equal to 20°

d) 130°+ angle y is equal to 180° ( supplementary angles)

angle y is equal to 50°

the base angles of a isosceles triangle are equal

therefore, 50°+50°+x= 180° (angle sum property)

x is equal to 80°
