HERE IS YOUR ANSWER.

In a rectangle , Diagonals are equal.

x + 5 = 2x -1
2x - x = 5 +1
x = 6

Sure here we go!
The diagonals of a rectangle are always equal (since the pair of opposite sides are always equal)
Therefore
2x-1=x+5
or, 2x-x=5+1
or, x= 6
Now, lets prove it (aka back calculation time!)
2x-1=x+5
Putting the value x=6 we get,
2.6-1=6+5
or, 12-1=11
or,11=11
Therefore LHS=RHS
The right answer is 6 cm
