hey mate here is your answer ✌♥✌

by elimination method add both equation

1/x-2y+1/x+2y =1/3+ 1/7

2/X=10/21

1/X=5/21

X=21/5

=4.2

now put value of X in first equation

21/5 -2y=1/3

2y=21/5-1/3

y=58/30

y=29/15

=1.933333333333333

hope it will help you

\frac{1}{x - 2y} =\frac{1}{3} ...(1)

\frac{1}{x + 2y}=\frac{1}{7} ...(2)

By invertendo,

x - 2y = 3 ... (3)

x + 2y = 7 ...(4)

Adding eq.(3) and (4),

(x - 2y = 3) + (x + 2y = 7)

= 2x = 10

x = 5

Value of x is 5.
