Applying same thing here, if 14, 35 and x are in continued proportion, then

\frac{14}{35}  = \frac{35}{x}

on cross multiplying both sides, we get

x = \frac{35 \times 35}{14}

or x = 87.5

So, the value of x = 87.5

Hence, 14, 35 and 87.5 are in continued proportion.
