2^4 × 2^2 = 2^3 x

2^3 x = 2^6

X = 2^(6 - 3)

X = 2^3

2^4*2^2=(2^3) x....

If bases are equal in multiplication;powers are added.....

2^(4+2) =(2^3) x

(2^6)=(2^3) x

If bases are equal in division;powers are subracted......

(2^6) /(2^3) =x

2^(6-3) =x

2^3=x

x=8....
